Google launches Ebola Fund

Google launched a campaign on Monday to raise fund to fight Ebola. Google founder Larry Page down $10 million and his family's foundation is contributing $15 million to the cause, and also saying it will match donations to fund two to one. " Our hearts go out to everyone whose lives have been touched by this tragedy" Page said in a blog post.
Google started collecting funds at https://onetoday.google.com/fightebola ,where a message
indicated that the 2 for 1 dollar match will continue until $7.5 million more in donations were collected.
Facebook co founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife donating $25 million to help US efforts to contain the deadly Ebola epidemic.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in September pledged US $50 million to help boost the fight against the Ebola

First Ebola case in New York City

Dr.Craig Spencer, an emergency doctor who was working with Doctors Without Borders in Ebola-stricken Guinea earlier this month,returned to New York last Friday,tests positive for Ebola. Health officials face the challenge of deciding how wide a net a cast for his possible contacts in the largest, most crowded city in the United States.
